    Practice Makes a Man Perfect

I was reading the post from the Blog of Srinivas Rao and found a really cool sentence or a life booster I can say.

Anybody who has achieved mastery of their craft (examples in this book include Bill Gates, The Beatles, professional athletes, and more) has had 10,000 hours of practice time. That works out to 20 hours a week for about 10 years.

If you practice a lot or at least for 10000 hours then you are ought to become a master or heavily skilled person. I have realized this when I read the blog post. I was programming since last 14 years in C, VB and .NET and I am now very much skilled (not really a self-praising) not because of any inherent abilities or talent but only because I have practiced for more than 20000+ hours in last 14 years.

Breath Meditation – A Divine Experience

I am practicing meditation since last 3 years. It is really a divine experience for me. I had gone through a very bad and negative life experience before I started practicing meditation

If you do not have patience then practicing meditation will be difficult for you. If you really want to see good results then you will need to have a lot of patience and ability to spend at least 1/2 hour daily practicing meditation. (More …)

Tags: trip horrible i had gone

I went on to a “Horrible Trip” yesterday

I had gone to a place called “Jalicha Dev” in Buldhana district yesterday.

While going to the place, on the road, the driver tried to overtake a truck and at the same time another truck was coming from the opposite side. The truck was in full speed and the driver was trying to overtake a truck beside him. The gap was too small and he went ahead but the speedy truck didn’t slow down. We were almost going to crash on to the truck coming from opposite side but the driver managed to sweep between the trucks but lost the balance over the vehicle. But somehow with gods grace he controlled and everything was fine. Otherwise we would have either crashed on the truck or on a tree aside the road.

The entire trip took 12 hours including traveling. The aim was to visit the “Krishna Temple” on a mountain then go down from the mountain using stairs (almost 1000) where there is another temple. That temple was 2 KM away from the mountain and the road was very bad. The villagers had arranged tractors for traveling to the temple so we went on the tractor. We were so much tired and we were sitting in the tractor going from the bad road. It was hilarious and disgusting at the same time.

While coming back from the temple up to the mountain, it was 6:30 PM and almost getting dark. The stairs were crowded with people and it was difficult to go up 1000 stairs up. I was carrying my daughter along with me and my wife was lagging behind. We somehow managed to reach at the top by 7:30 PM. We were completely tired by that time and our “Tata Sumo” was parked 1 KM away from the temple. This was the most boring thing I have ever done.

    New Beginning

This blog was dormant for almost a year. The main reason was my inability to spend time. I was working on major releases of my software tools which I sell online.

I will probably continue blogging from now onwards.

    See ya !
